The hoodlums, after killing the 37-year-old man, abducted his 27-year-old wife.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Nasarawa State Command, SP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday.

According to him, “The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Keana division reported that the attack occurred around 11:30pm.

“Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers stormed the residence of one Stephen Kwaghtomun, killed him, and abducted his wife.”

He added that the victim's remains have been deposited at the General Hospital in Obi, while the police have launched a manhunt to track down the perpetrators and rescue the abducted woman.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses disclosed that the armed assailants stormed the house and began shooting sporadically before executing the victim, popularly known as “Action,” and forcefully taking his wife to an undisclosed location.
