Stakeholders in the gaming sector will storm Enugu between July 30 and 31 for the 2025 Enugu Gaming Conference.

Executive Secretary and CEO of the Enugu State Gaming Commission, Prince Arinze Arum made the announcement at a press briefing.

He describedthe theme “From Unification to Diversification – Shaping Nigeria’s Gaming Future,” as very apt, noting that the conference aimed to address the dynamic changes within Nigeria’s gaming sector.

"This year’s edition is particularly significant…the theme reflects not only the current trajectory of the gaming sector in Nigeria but also the bold and necessary conversations we must have in response to the growing diversity of players, regulators, technologies, and jurisdictional realities that characterise our industry today,” he said.

Arum highlighted the ongoing transformation within the Nigerian gaming landscape, noting a shift from a traditionally centralised regulatory structure to a more diverse, state-led approach.

He remarked, “This diversification, though challenging, offers a unique opportunity for innovation, inclusion, and growth—particularly when guided by collaboration and shared values.”

The 2025 conference aims to unite various stakeholders, including regulators, operators, technology providers, legal experts, financial institutions, and public interest groups, fostering a platform for open dialogue and policy harmonisation.

Activities expected during the conference include: Panel sessions with industry thought leaders and executives; Exhibitions showcasing emerging technologies and regulatory solutions; The formal unveiling of Good Cause Projects aligning with global best practices; Strategic roundtables involving government agencies, investors, and civil society and Networking opportunities for startups and operators looking to expand into the South East market.
