However, they recorded 5-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.
Goals from Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah gave the hosts the victory.
Dominic Solanke did score a goal for the visitors.
The result leaves Liverpool with 82 points from 34 games with four more matches remaining to conclude the season.
The Reds also equalled Manchester United’s record of 20 top-flight titles.
